Always up for a puzzle to solve, Ms. Vitaceae loves to write cozy mysteries. Since she has lived in small towns in the Pacific Northwest most of her life she is particularly interested in setting them in the woods, the rocky coast, or the high desert.

As a farm owner, herbalist, and former nutrition consultant she has an acute awareness of the importance of basic health and our changing times. She has published a children's book about a moose helping his neighbor with a dairy allergy and she has just published her first non-fiction work, The Cozy Herb Book.
